1. Pay Attention to Customer’s Response:  One of the most important priorities is to follow your audience and make sure that they are satisfied with your product and service.  That being said, it is wise to follow up with your customer once you have serviced them.  Make sure they are satisfied and if not, do something about it so that they will be satisfied in the end.  Not only do you want your customers and potential new customers completely satisfied, but by listening to them, you will gain insight into what products to create next or how to better your customer relations sector of your company.  If your content is getting a positive response, don’t mess with it.  Improve on it and expand upon it and your response will also be positive.

2. Don’t Break the Law:  It is important to always follow the laws, no matter where your business is located.  This does not just refer to big name companies being involved in insider trading, but in making sure all FTC guidelines are being followed and that all of your text, images, and ideas are 100% authentic.  Your company’s reputation depends on it.

3. Always Think Ahead:  If you want to take your company into the future, you must invest in the future and always focus on the next few steps you want your company to take to successfully get there.  Especially in a market as competitive and ever-changing as technology and software development, the future and the company’s next steps should always be in your mind and ready to be executed.

4. Be Innovative:  Similar to thinking ahead and into the future, it is important to be innovative and creative when designing a new product, a new service, or a new way of handing customer service.  Listen to your customer and take what they say seriously because they are your audience and the people you are selling to.  Give them what they want, not what you think they want.
